RolaCase designs and manufactures electrician van fitouts and electrician van shelving systems for sole operators, electrical contractors and fleet operators across Australia. Founded in 1982 by Sydney electrician Thomas Moloney, RolaCase understands how sparkies work: high-value test gear, power tools, cable drums, fittings and consumables all need secure, organised storage that survives daily site use. From pre-configured electrical van kits for popular work vans through to modular RolaShelf shelving, lockable metal drawers and cabinet systems, every fitout is Australian-made and built to expand as your business grows.

Built for the daily grind

Why Electricians Need Proper Van Storage

An electrician's van is a mobile workshop. Without a structured electrical contractor van storage system, tools get damaged, cable gets tangled, small parts disappear and valuable minutes are lost at every job. A practical electrician vehicle storage layout solves four daily problems:

Tool and test equipment security

Lockable metal drawers and cabinet kits protect multimeters, testers and battery platforms worth thousands.

Cable and conduit organisation

Cable drum holders and deep shelving keep cable off the floor and ready to pull.

Small parts and fittings

Bin rails and parts organisers sort connectors, saddles, tape and consumables by type.

Modular expansion

Start with a driver-side kit, add passenger-side van shelving or upgrade to a full electrician van fitout as workload grows.

Not sure which kit suits your van? Use the vehicle configurator to browse by make and model, or request a quote and our team will confirm fitment before you order.

The challenge

Datawire needed to organise a large range of electrical tools, testing equipment, consumables and spare parts in their service vehicle. The existing setup made equipment hard to reach quickly, costing time on site.

The solution

RolaCase designed a modular fitout for the service body canopy: heavy-duty shelving, secure storage cases and a layout that gives every tool and component its own place while making the most of the available space.

The result

The vehicle is now a highly organised mobile workspace. The team finds tools fast, keeps equipment protected in transit and carries more stock without the clutter, all while presenting a more professional image on site.
